Friday, July 15th Resting Pulse: 56 bpm Weight: 165 lbs. Course: Down by the River Distance: 3 Miles Time: Not Timed Other Exercises: None Weather: Drizzle, 64° Comments: I ran an easy three miles after work. While I was stretching by my truck after the run, I saw a ton of '50s and '60s era cars drive past with a motorcycle cop escort—three minutes of sirens and two-tone convertibles. It was kind of surreal. Poor Chris Horner just ran out of road on today's Tour de France stage. If the course had been 50 meters shorter he would have won. Instead, he got swept up by the peloton and finished 10th. McEwen won, and it looked like he tried to cross his back wheel across O'Grady's front wheel, which would have taken him out. O'Grady is the guy McEwen head-butted in stage three. I get the feeling maybe McEwen doesn't like O'Grady. WARR: T-minus 64 Days |
